For the Rugby World Cup held in Paris in the fall of 2023, Louis Vuitton requested the creation of an illustration for the brand's signature trunck. The trunck housed the Webb Ellis Cup, later awarded to the tournament champions.
My role involved crafting the illustration and subsequently orchestrating the composition. Our team has opted to craft a design in honor of rugby's 200th anniversary, showcasing an inventive idea that plays with the distinctive shape of the ball.
Upon completing the design, an artist appointed by LVMH was tasked with painting the composition onto the surface of the suitcase. The branded trunck made its grand appearance on television screens worldwide on the day of the championship final. Actress Sophie Turner and former rugby star Dan Carter were the ones carrying it.
